Our Story
ArborCare NZ was founded in 2012 by James Tūhoe, an Auckland-born arborist with a deep respect for New Zealand's native trees and a commitment to doing tree work the right way — safely, ethically, and to the highest professional standards.
What started as a one-man operation with a ute and a chainsaw has grown into a team of 15+ qualified arborists serving communities across New Zealand. We've completed over 5,000 jobs for Kiwi homeowners, councils, developers, and commercial property managers.
We're proud members of the New Zealand Arboricultural Association and maintain the highest standards of safety, insurance, and professional practice in everything we do.
